I know a lot of people have already said this but if they added more strings it would be better. There are only 4 bands on this bedspread, and weighted blankets typically not only have multiple band loops in the corners, but are segmented around the entire outer perimeter. I also thought the quilted part would be softer. It's silkier, not fluffy like the photo. Also, the ties in the pictures are not what they look like, I think 1/2" wide and 1 and 1/2" long slippery white ribbon. I also had a hole in the seam next to the zipper. I usually don't care if a piece has a hole along the seam because I know how to sew, but this duvet cover is a weighted comforter. A hole can mean the stitching is unraveling elsewhere due to the weight of the quilt inside, and there are also people who don't know how to fix things with stitching. You will need to send it back and either get a new one which still only has 4 ties inside which will not secure the weighted blanket properly and could cause future tears or just send it back and not buy another one. duvet of this brand.
