This was a good purchase to replace a broken stem on the center stuffing tube. This tube was never meant to break, but it was due to a very poor and flimsy design. We have four of these toilets and had issues with the rubber o-ring which allows water to leak in and waste 5,000 gallons a month (just one toilet) until I realized it was a rubber gasket with black spots, through the water could flow down the toilet underneath. I complained to KOHLER and the lady sent me ONE replacement pad, a $6 item. I am very dissatisfied with the thiols, which cost close to $300 each. Tiolets are only five years old, which for $1,200 plus installation isn't the best investment.
