Used this pop-up drain to replace the cheap plastic drain that came with the faucet. Had to go with a pop-up style drain because there was not enough clearance behind faucet for the typical pull-stem. Was impressed with the all-metal construction. Seems to be very well-made. Fit my standard 1-5/8" sink drain hole perfectly. After installation I had a small leak through the threads of the nut under sink, which was stopped with some Teflon tape and a little plumbers putty. I think the drain head seems a bit (awkwardly) large, but wife wife likes the look of it. Overall, a great value drain in my opinion.
