I bought this to replace another monitor that stopped working after 4 months. This is super slim, easy to power/connect with a cable. Light as a binder. I had to download a utility to get the auto rotate to work and also disable auto dimming. The default brightness is 50%, so it appears dim at first. I also bought a lower resolution model as I work and don't play or watch videos so it didn't matter. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the case, which should also be a stand. It's weird and bulky so I bought a separate stand for it which I really like. Instead, I use the case as a mouse pad. I also wish the case came with a cord clip or something to keep everything neat and tidy and so I don't lose the cord. With this second monitor, working remotely has never been easier. And it's been difficult to find a monitor that works properly and is powered by USB 3.0, which is the only port I have on my Surface 2 laptop.
