Review on Delphi FG0086 Fuel Pump Module: Trustworthy Performance and Superior Fuel Delivery by Malik Munns

This is the third pump I have installed on my '98 Silverado, the other two were much cheaper and the fuel gauge worked at neither of them . Work after installation and the pumps were noisy. This pump comes with marine style shock joints that shrink when heated and are extremely quiet. The real plus is that my fuel gauge now works as it should. If this only lasts a year like the others, I will reduce the number of stars. The only downside was that the rubber o-ring that came with the pump didn't allow the pump to be mounted far enough to install the retaining ring. Don't throw away your old ring, I reused mine and it worked fine.
