Reading the reviews made me nervous that it would heat up after purchase, yet it maintained a chilly 30 degrees Celsius even when loaded with 50 degrees Celsius. I'm glad I made the decision to get the I5-3570K. Well worth the cost. I put in a P8Z77-V LX motherboard, 32 GB of 1600 MHz RAM, and a 6 GB/s ssd drive, and the machine is lightning fast.
