This product has deteriorated over time and is not recommended. They work "well", but not for the lonely. If they work at all, they click, snap, lick, and swim. I only recommend using regular airstone. At this price I cannot recommend this product in any way. Initial review - my freshwater setup required the smallest bubbles and I purchased this product after reviewing it on a youtube video. It works with more bubbles but not many micro sizes. The one with smaller bubbles also leaks around the plastic adapter, but that's to be expected. judging by the reviews, since apparently no glue is used for installation. The second diffuser looks like a crack, the airflow is constant, there are no microbubbles. Broke in half in a crack after a week. These float, that's what I wanted them to do. Compare the output of freshwater bubbles, which is equivalent to a regular air stone, which would cost less than $1.00, to multiple small bubbles emanating from one.
