Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Auto Focus OS Zoom Lens with Optical Stabilizer for Canon DSLR Cameras by Anuson Chaosuan แ Œ

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Having sold my Nikorr16-85, I already found the Nikorr18-200, but then a mailing with a review came in. I liked the photos from it. After looking at the market, I found this lens. For 19k with delivery, I bought a new one, and Nikonovsky wanted to buy a used one for 20k. I had a lot of different lenses, Nikorovโ€™s zooms (I tried fixes, not mine) and there was a Sigma 30 1.4 (I didnโ€™t like it, because of the unpredictability with focusing) . And this one is very personal, the focus is accurate, the focus motor is quiet, like that of nikors. As for the vignette and other things, I'm not worried, about the darkness too (SB 900 helps). It lies pleasantly in the hands, not heavy. Contra also tolerates well, I like the cup. I practically donโ€™t use the stub, I prefer a shorter shutter speed. In a word, the lens pleases. Even the opinion about sigma has changed for the better. It's been more than a year since I've been using it, there are no complaints, everything works! So my opinion is better to take it than Nikon with the same focal lengths. I don't regret it at all!

Pros
  • Focal, weight, filter diameter, quiet focus motor, work in counter.
Cons
  • The focus ring is not customary in the other direction, but this is a trifle.
