This is an improvement over my 2011 Outback, but if you've ever changed a headlight bulb on an Outback, you know it's a job for someone with tiny hands that bend in weird ways. Not me. I managed to drop the base of the adapter into a hard to reach part of the headlight housing. For this reason I could not install the headlight. Your customer service did not quote me a price based on the adapter but advised me to order a new kit and send it back. Of course I didn't go back because it was about an additional project. I think that makes them a little bigger. Nice product but given the complexity of current headlight design I can't be the only dummy losing the base of the adapter. That's where the best plan comes in handy.
