Bought a used Intel X520-DA2 off eBay for one of my NAS units and before my new SFP+ switch arrived I added this RJ45 transceiver. It was recognized immediately by Synology and rated for 10Gb when using a CAT7 cable directly between my Mac Mini (with 10GbE) and Synology. Once the switch ships I will move this transceiver to the switch and update this review if there is any compatibility between this 10GTek transceiver and the QNap SFP+ 10Gbit switch. The workmanship appears to be of high quality and well suited for an RJ45 connection. .Inexpensive and easy to install. Nice packaging.
