When I took it out of the box, the first thing I thought was that it looked pretty solid. It also has a nice look, but since I put it down you don't see it, so it's not a plus for me. Connecting all the wires is very easy, just remember to apply watertight seals before crimping the other end. I feel like these are the basic requirements for a waterproof relay box, so it feels good. But it would be nice to have a bottom cover so the bottom is also airtight. You pretty much have to use the stand mounts that come with the kit, which leaves the underside exposed. Not necessarily because of the weather because of the seals, it just looks very unfinished. If you want to flush mount it you'll need a fairly large opening as there isn't enough room for cables between the mounting surface and the bottom of the box. The design on top of the "lid" is unnecessary, useless and prevents any labels from being placed underneath. I have another relay box with a top and bottom cover that I feel is weatherproof enough for most applications. Also, it was fairly durable and very simple, and also had a flat lid that could be labeled with a chart. I feel this box does the job of being a waterproof relay box but I don't think I would buy it again.
