All parts fit together well and feel solid. Good quality terminals. I can't say anything about the waterproofness, I have an installation in the trunk.

This is my second setup I have installed in my CJ7 crawler project. The product is well assembled and fully meets my needs. The seals appear to be a soft, pliable material. The wires are well sealed around the included gaskets. Note the IP 65 rating, they are not waterproof so they didn't get 5 stars whatever the description says. Excellent work!

The holes in the cable grommets are too large to seal properly fitted car cables to the terminals. You'll need to use a cheaper "universal" wire with a thick soft covering or do like I did and add heat shrink tubing to the wire to fill the hole. The clamps are cheap, very thin, and fit freely in their cavities. Again, I was fortunate to have the solution handy. I replaced ALL the clamps with thicker metal clamps. My terminals fit better and allowed for a stronger crimp on the wire.

So it's not a very expensive part so I wasn't expecting much. I broke 2 ears straight away. It was my fault I thought he leaned back but he gets up immediately. When I took it out of the box, the first thing I thought was that it looked pretty solid. It also has a nice look, but since I put it down you don't see it, so it's not a plus for me. Connecting all the wires is very easy, just remember to apply watertight seals before crimping the other end.
