I bought this hat for my baby when he was 3 months old and it fits him well and he wears it every time we are outside. The rim doesn't offer full sun protection (it needs to be a lot bigger for that), so I put sunglasses on him anyway and make sure the sun doesn't stay on his face for too long because he can. until I use sunscreen. But it's a very cute and lightweight hat that offers some protection from the sun. Easy to adjust straps and fit. I also love that the strap has a breakaway feature so you don't have to worry.
