This is by no means for 4 inch pipe or hose
Look at the picture. It's 3-1/4 inches at the widest part of the curve with flat legs. To get this anywhere around 4 inches you had to bend it all the way and it didn't fit the wall. Sending it back because it doesn't match the advertised material. It will not fit a 4" pipe or hose in any way (without damaging either). I bet he tells his wife six inches.
