Wow! This thing takes the security of a typical trailer clasp to a whole other level. Here in East Tennessee, trailers and their contents seem to be a constant target. There must be people who just roam the streets looking for unsupervised trailers at workplaces and motels. I've learned that open padlocks don't keep these people out. There are so many stories here about how quickly the hammer heads come loose and peel the inside of the pendant. I ordered this thing about 6 weeks ago because I needed to update my protection. I was a little concerned that this is a gimmick with a name like Snatch Latch. But my god, this thing is built like a tank. Thick steel that I doubt will ruin anything less than a blowtorch. Nothing to figure out how to use it. Just put it on and bam. The risk of theft is averted. Impressive product. Highly recommended.
