Dangerous design. for reptiles and amphibians
We bought this for my son's tortoise and have been using it for a few months. He went to his room to check it out and the turtle's jaw got stuck between the grooves on the ramp. We don't know how long he was stuck, but if that portion of the ramp had been underwater he would have died. His mouth was damaged. We immediately went back to what we had been using before. We think this may have happened because he could see his food through the ridges.
