Review on Ultimate Universal XL Tow Hitch Cover with Brake Light in Black - No Logo/Emblem, Car, SUV, Truck Accessories by Michael Hudson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great so far with lights

Pros - Plugs straight into 4 pin connector perfect for class 3-4 hitch works exactly like all the lights on my CRV, very clear at night winding the wires. clutch they hide nicely under the bumper. Cons - Not very bright, doesn't look like the bulbs are replaceable, at least I couldn't see how to get them out, not the LEDs look crazy just bubbles, you have to wrap the wires around the hitch, they have go through the clutch. I would give it 5 stars other than the fact that it isn't an LED and they routed wires that had to come out inside the part. which is included in the bundle. I had the CRV, plugged it in and opened the back door to see if it worked. When I did the right blink, he naturally blinked to the left. Oh man, miswired. Yeah, then I just turned it around after the nagging and raving, and Right did Right. It worked flawlessly with the 4 pin cable I have on my SUV. Brought into the store, stood in front of the glass doors, looked in the rear view mirror and checked in the daylight and hardly saw her. I turned on and checked all the lights, got out of the CRV, got out and checked. Not very bright, but headlights are visible. Looks like LED, but it isn't. They are very visible after dark. I could actually see her reflection in the car's grille behind me. Are they worth it? I would say yes, they add more visibility to your car. I would recommend them. I don't understand all the cons unless they have the wrong braid to hook up the pendant.

Pros

Cons
  • No automatic
