THIS IS NOT A LED LIGHT AND SELLER IS NOT THE MANUFACTURER (NEW UPDATE)

(The reference to LEDs has been removed from this listing and the listing is now correct) I called the manufacturer and they didn't know The product was advertised with LED bulbs, it has incandescent bulbs (old style). You contact Revain for incorrect information in the listing. You can order 1157 LED bulbs from other sellers who will turn this unit into an LED. This is what I need to do to turn this into what I want for the light source. I found that I cannot leave feedback for the seller or…

Works the way you want it!

Put this on my father-in-law's truck so he blushes even more when he hits the brakes. I installed a similar product on my truck a few years ago after being hit from behind by a customer in a low-slung Christmas car who failed to notice my brake lights out of the corner of her eye while on her cell phone. (!) I thought I'd buy the LED version but reviews of most of them say they don't work as expected with turn signals. This uses incandescent bulbs and its functions are very similar to trailer…

Not working as expected? Here is a possible solution.

If your brake light is not working properly, try reinstalling the bulbs. This worked for me. When I first got mine the right bulb didn't work and my new Ford van was flashing the other right turn signals rapidly. After a moment I realized it was the van telling me one of the lightbulbs had burned out. Turns out there was a simple solution: 1) Remove the red lens cap (there are four tabs - center left and center right top and bottom; use a screwdriver or better yet a spatula to gently pry the…

Extra Rear Security

I looked at several items of this type before deciding on the Bully CR-007XL Universal Extra Large Towbar Cover/Trailer Receiver. One thing I noticed about a lot of the reviews was that some of them failed after a few months. Most likely due to water ingress into the product. Before assembly, I took steps to apply waterproof tape where the power wires enter each bulb and used some silicone to seal those holes even more. Installation is relatively easy, although the insert portion of the product

Works great so far with lights

Pros - Plugs straight into 4 pin connector perfect for class 3-4 hitch works exactly like all the lights on my CRV, very clear at night winding the wires. clutch they hide nicely under the bumper. Cons - Not very bright, doesn't look like the bulbs are replaceable, at least I couldn't see how to get them out, not the LEDs look crazy just bubbles, you have to wrap the wires around the hitch, they have go through the clutch. I would give it 5 stars other than the fact that it isn't an LED and…

The light is easy to install, I like that it reflects my taillights

Update 04/10/15: One of the lights burned out for a while and it took me a while to reach it. Substitute what I did today. After installing a new lightbulb and checking that it works, I find that it does nothing but glow when the light is on. It doesn't get brighter when braking and there are no turn signals. Bulb out and the same. I suspect it didn't work properly for a while, as did several other reviews that said it stopped working after a few months. It looks like I do too. I really liked…
