Great hat! I have terrible sensitivity to the sun due to medication. It blocks the sun with dense shade (unlike regular woven sun hats) but is still lightweight and not hot at all. I love that it protects my face and neck so I don't have to wear high necked sun shirts that seem to suffocate me. Great product, well made. Very happy with this purchase! I was concerned about the discoloration of the pool (understandably) but I've used it a few times and haven't noticed a single fading. It also kept its shape. Impressive!
