Excellent traction and beautiful appearance.
We installed them on several pressure treated porch steps in front of our house where there is very little sunlight to dry them out. The steps can get moldy and very slippery when wet. These caterpillars went by quickly and easily and changed everything. The foundation is now safe and secure even if flooded with water. The brown looks great with our reddish deck color. They also look good overall - a very high quality item. We installed ten - two on each of the five steps in front - they are wide so it took us two to climb the entire staircase of each step. It is worth the price to prevent the fall.
