We loved our pillowcases at first, and I have carefully hand-washed them according to instructions a couple times. However, they are both fraying at the seam in the same spot on each pillowcase, and now there is a tear 2-3" on each. I would say it could be blamed on misuse if it was just one, but the fact that they've been used by two different people (my husband and I) who sleep differently and move the pillow differently, but are ripping in the same spot points to the way they're made. The way it's fraying makes it almost impossible to sew it closed. We expected them to last longer with the price we paid. I sent a message to the seller, but it's been a week with no response. This is the most I've ever spent on pillowcases, I expect them to be better!
