Review on 🎧 Anker Soundsync A3341- Bluetooth 5 Transmitter and Receiver for TV and Home Stereo: Lag-Free HD Audio, 2-in-1 with Multiple Connection Options by Nick Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I hated Bluetooth audio. Not with this thing!

I needed a bluetooth adapter for my 2010 car stereo as my new phone doesn't have a headphone jack. My experience with Bluetooth audio so far has been far from encouraging: one speaker I've seen in action had a habit of hissing, and two portable adapters I'd used before that died in the car had inconsistent output, who always put the volume on mute. and aptX not supported. Having usually had good experiences with Anker, I decided to give this adapter a try. USB powered, good, stereo mini jacks and transmit/receive switch. Beautiful and simple design. There's also an optical out which I probably won't use in the car unless they use optical in the car audio. Pairing, connecting, and setting up the adapter was easy, and it appears Android can remember the volume used for Bluetooth, which is a nice touch. The latest version of Android also allows Android Auto to be activated when the adapter is plugged in (sensor-based settings don't work one bit, so turn it off if you don't want to switch to airplane drive mode). Bonus: Disconnect the adapter and Android exits driving mode. The sound quality is excellent, in fact the limiting factor in my setup is probably the stock audio system. It will stutter when a paired Pixel phone searches for WiFi. So if you have one of these and get annoyed as easily as I do, you can turn off WiFi-based location enhancement in the system settings.
