Very useful in many ways, both inside and to my surprise outside the aquarium! Have you ever dropped something into a gas stove burner? I have and was very happy to receive these extra long tweezers. This really got me wondering how I've lived my whole life without them up until now (I'm 39), scissors aren't the sharpest anyway, but they're very effective considering they only cut wet plants. I've used every tool in my new aquascaping hobby so far and I think they all do the trick. Haven't found any rust yet and the bag is handy for storage (although I dry it first and even let it sit for a bit before putting it away). slightly thinner at the end. When I put a plant in it, it's difficult to remove it without removing the plant, because there isn't enough sand to fill the gaps around the tweezers to hold the plant, because the tweezers are big enough, to block most of the sand. Maybe my technique needs a little tweaking, but I still think they could be a bit thinner. They don't look very expensive so I'm not sure I'll give them away. But for me it's a great thing. Next to? They are amazing . I think it was a good deal for the money.
