This derailleur connects directly to my '88 Toyota 4x4, 5 speed. fits good. Be careful not to over tighten the screw that secures the switch to the toggle switch/button frame though, as the switch's body is plastic and I snapped and snapped off a piece, but it stays in place and can be used.
