I am a gourmet in taste and cuisine. So I have a variety of spices and spice mixtures from all over the world. I have three kitchen cabinets full of spices and I need more space. These clear plastic containers came in very handy and are the right size. They are lightweight and secure with airtight screw caps. Since the containers cannot be sanitized with heat (dishwasher, steam, or boiling water) for my personal convenience, I washed them with mild dish soap, then soaked briefly and rinsed in warm water and a chlorine-filled lid (for domestic use) . The containers dried quickly and retained their original appearance after washing and rinsing. Depending on the intended use, I highly recommend these containers.
