I’ve been buying Luminara candles for years; they are by far the best faux candles I've tried. The "melted” top of this candle is wavy, much like a real candle. I ordered the Ivory color and absolutely love how soft and elegant it looks. Luminara has mastered the effect of mimicking a candle.This candle takes two C batteries. I turn it on for several hours each night and I replace the batteries about every 12 days. On the bottom of the candle is a switch for On, Off, and Timer. The timer works great and turns the candle on at the same time every day, and turns off after 5 hours. The candle works with any Luminara remote that can be bought separately, and the remote can turn the candle on or off from about 8-10 feet away.
