I was skeptical how much these tones would help my truck. Before when I plugged in the 5er it didn't crouch much. Now there are almost no squats. I was hoping to calm the "dolphins" crossing bridges and overpasses. He does this and more. With no load in the truck, the tones are about 1/4 inch from the firing pin contact above the axle. I did NOT use a 1/2" spacer. On reasonably smooth roads the ride doesn't change, but on rougher roads the ride gets stiffer, just like when the truck was new. The ride isn't harsh at all, it just feels stiffer My 14 F350 SRW Long Bed has what has been described as a "heavy duty bounce". At 45 mph the rear end vibrated terribly up and down. This is a known problem on some heavy duty trucks with no known solution. It has been suspected that this is some kind of harmonic resonance caused by the partially closed frame rails.This makes sense as it doesn't seem to affect new full box frame models.After installing timbres it didn't go away but decreased significantly.Before you Holding 45 on a flat road I'd shake your lunch out of you Now I have to focus to notice it It's still there but I think it is is muted because the unloaded tones are so close to making contact. I think they absorb vibrations. Whatever it is, I wish I had bought them 3 years ago when the vibes started. So far my only solution has been not to ride the 45s. It's almost fixed now. I LOVE THESE THINGS. They gave me back my heavy truck.
