I was looking for a charger that could charge my kid while driving my car, motorcycle and automobile. This charger seems to handle them all pretty well. It took me a while to figure out what a type of car battery is, but it appears to be SLA (like a regular car battery). manual selection of the voltage range (useful for 12V batteries discharged below 8V) - handy clips Cons: - replacing a large battery takes time (up to 2 days) I can't activate it manually, but the device decides when to use it (usually up to the start of a normal charge cycle). - will update my review later once I have some practical results.
