Slide forward: my review

So, like some other people, I was initially disappointed in them. They just wouldn't stay on my feet when walking, and the arch support felt too high and far back for my foot. And when I pulled the straps down, they kind of slid forward and flew off the tops of my legs! But as intrusive as it was, it was obvious that I should just try to adjust the straps a bit and wear them around the house. Turns out it's the key! Time and careful wearing before going out/trail/beach/etc.1. The arch of the foot shrinks and miraculously becomes the perfect fit for your foot.2. Adjust the straps very slightly: too tight, and they'll shrink off your leg on the third or fourth step. Small movements, Ellie. Small movements (bonus points for those who get the link).3. Wear them when you sit to keep the rubber and foam warm and under your weight they conform to your foot. After all, I've walked many miles in these things; Walk the trail comfortably and easily with roots, rocks and boulders, uneven slopes and of course the obligatory creek crossing. 5 stars would be if they could be a little more comfortable on foot but other than that I love these slides.
