I've been an avid Chacos fan for many years. I've had several pairs in two decades, but it seems like this brand has strayed from their iconic formula; a high-performance sandal known for its invincibility. Design flaws, poor quality materials, and silly color schemes have crept into their product line. Decisions were made that I felt diluted the brand and tried to offer something for everyone rather than focusing on what made Chacos special. Maybe it's just not profitable to produce something…

They appear to be true to size and look great, but from a functional point of view the heavy sole combined with the flexible upper straps created a situation where I couldn't keep the sandals on my feet. A few steps and they'll fly right off my foot. I've never experienced that with sandals. I tried tightening them, loosening them and everything in between to get them working but they just wouldn't stay on my foot while walking.

The people who wrote that they just keep wearing them and adjusting them little by little are right. It took me about a week to wear them around the house and make very small adjustments and now they fit like a glove.

So, like some other people, I was initially disappointed in them. They just wouldn't stay on my feet when walking, and the arch support felt too high and far back for my foot. And when I pulled the straps down, they kind of slid forward and flew off the tops of my legs! I had to take them off after 15 minutes. The lower part of my feet hurt so much that it was better to just walk barefoot on the rocks than to carry them further. Very disappointed as they are advertised as very comfortable.

I received these sandals a few days earlier than expected. When I opened it I was immediately impressed with how they look and how durable they are. The longer I have these guys, the more I like them. Definitely recommend.

I like the style of these sandals but they are quite narrow with a prominent arch and a hard sole. Personally, I'm more of a Teva devotee. I like the wider, softer, flatter sole but wanted to try something different. However, these are quality sandals, just not for me.

These are very nice sandals with a comfortable and comfortable insole. However, after tightening the belt as much as possible, it was still unusable. If the buckle would move just an inch above the belt then everything would be fine. But so I had to send it back.

Garbage. weigh a ton. cannot be tightened enough, so unless you have fat legs, don't take them. should be around 20-30 for the quality of the specified plastics

Well built and not as clunky as some of their other models. But due to the lack of a heel strap, they slide forward causing part of my heel to hang off my back, which isn't uncomfortable but looks a bit off. Also for me the straps are too long when tightened and dragging on the floor.

I like these. I'm nervous about other people's reviews but I'm glad I got them. Like mules, they should be worn "loosely”. However, they should not be tied tightly. Perhaps the rear strap option can be tightened, but not this one. They are very comfortable and have a distinctive curved insole. They appear robust, just as Chacos should be. Just don't expect them to be as tight as classic sandals.

My Chaco sandals were torn and I decided to give it a try. They looked good, felt good, but if I, as an Old Man, wanted to do a different tempo than Tim Conway, they would be useless. Even at a normal pace, they kept sliding forward and my heels were on the heel of the boot. The only reason I gave two stars is because I've been wearing the original Chaco sandals for about 20 years now and I really like them. Skip this particular sandal.

I love these sandals! The women's version strangely bumped my leg, so I took a chance and ordered a men's size 7, women's I usually wear a 9. They fit perfectly. I wear them everyday while chasing my three kids around the yard. They are easy to put on and get going. For hiking I would go for a back sling but they are great for everyday use.
