Much better than putty!
Found a better use - not wearing the nozzle that came with the kit. I just squeezed some out of the tube and scraped it off with a spatula/scraper. It lays nice, smooth and spreads easily without scratching. When it dries there isn't much to sand off. Used it to putty some drilled holes in drywall.
