This belt will not fit a 46 " waist, it will fit a 42 " and under.

It should fit for 46" waist when the first "bar" is at 42" waist. The strap is actually 46 inches long but 4 inches is useless so it's barely 42 inches long or less. The "latch system" replaces the belt holes.
