I have to say when I put my hand in the massager and turned it on I thought the compressions were very strong. Good point. However, I found the vibration and warmth to be lacking. I bought a heated Brookstone Air and Shiatsu handheld massager and am comparing it to this model. The Brookstone model is a bit more expensive, but in my opinion the vibration is stronger and the heat is stronger (the heat wasn't felt much on the Purology model). The Purology model is battery operated and designed to run for 15 minutes. The Brookstone model plugs in, maybe that's why it's better to deliver more vibration and heat. Given the knowledge I now have of both the Purology and Brookstone models, I give the Purology model 2 stars and the Brookstone model 4.25 stars. In my opinion, it is obvious that the Brookstone model brings more utility to your hands. I am not affiliated with any of these companies. I actually bought them for a friend who has hand problems. I have two Brookstone models (one for each hand).
