For those considering this adapter, just be aware that it only comes with four wires connected from 4 pins to 7 pins , as noted by others. This would explain why the price is reduced, but not why it is still shown with eight wires (an 'extra'?) in the description and photos. Anyway, it has all the available connectors on one 7-pin connector. Since it was cheaper and I can connect brakes, power and reversing lights to it with relative ease, I still gave it 5 stars as otherwise it seems to be a good quality connector. If you make it yourself, it's not that difficult to open the connector and plug it in as needed for your application. Also, fewer connectors per line mean fewer points of corrosion.
