Out of the box it was great. Plugged it in, pressed the power button to turn it on and then held the pairing button down for a few seconds. The Geeni app works well and allows for some customization and timers for each plug. I was so happy that I went out and bought four more of them.A FEW MONTHS LATER. We replaced our internet router and changed the settings for the wifi. This meant we had to reset all the plugs to match the new router configuration. The Geeni plugs WILL NOT RESET. You press the pairing button and the plugs turn on but it will NOT go into pairing mode. I looked this issue up on the web and found page after page of people having the same issue. I tried several noted fixes, such as leaving it unplugged for a while (several days in fact) but nothing worked.The power strip still works but is no longer very smart. I am unable to pair them with anything. I would not and will not purchase these again. I can now see why they were the least expensive on Ebay.
