Review on GEARWRENCH 10 Pc. 1/2" Drive 6 Pt. Deep Universal Impact Socket Set, SAE - 84943N by Timothy Harper

I've been using Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches for a few years, and they're my go-to tool for a wrench. Because of that good experience, I didn't hesitate to order this 1/2" drive impact set. I was looking for good quality and a certain range of sizes. An inch and a half is as big as you need in a half inch impact socket, and this set has it. The inch and five sixteenths lets you cheat on a 33mm, and the inch and three sixteenths lets you cheat on the 30mm.These sockets have a nice smooth finish. With the bigger sizes, sometimes your other hand is on the socket. I like the etched socket identification. The socket wall isn't excessively thick, and that's what you want. Good bite on the fastener, good fit to the gun.
