I didn't use it to burn to disc only to play movies, that's what this review is about. It plays movies perfectly and comes with a very nice carrying case. I actually had a connection issue on the device after a few months. After some troubleshooting suggestions from the seller, it was determined that there was a problem with the device. They sent me a new device which came very quickly. So far that's fine. EDIT: Although customer support was good, the new device they sent me had the same problem, just earlier. I reject this product. Something is wrong with the connection to the device.
