EXCELLENT open water fin. However, there are a few disadvantages for more technical applications: * They are huge. You will find that the divers follow too closely and also follow the next reef or bottom. Not the easiest way to turn around in tight spaces. At the top, you will most likely be the one spending the most time on the deck if you are sitting on the bench. Also, they are not very easy to transport or store.* They are very flexible. This means AWESOME performance for a standard scissor punch and acceptable performance for a frog or flutter punch. Unfortunately, this makes them less stable in heli turns or when moving with the tail fin. Mind you, these aren't exactly complaints. These are very high quality fins and in the right environment they are the best choice. You just have to know how you're going to use them. If you plan to do recreational open water diving with regular fins, these are great. But if you want penetration, technique, rescue etc. I would go for a shorter and stiffer fin.
