I love them once I get the right size.

I love these fins. It's easy to go with the flow or just float in a drift dive, frog kick, flutter kick, you name it. I wear size 9.5 women's shoes and initially ordered a medium size but they felt loose and one even slipped off my foot while diving. I exchanged it for a smaller size and was very satisfied. I wear it with Mares boots and they fit great. The only complaint is that it can sometimes be a problem coming out gracefully with one hand while holding the tongue with the other, sometimes

Best to buy them from Scuba Fins

I've been diving for a while and have had other fins. These fins are amazing. Moderate flexibility, convenience and easy on and off. The only caveat: the legs should be of medium strength, no spaghetti. They give good traction and are equally good for paddling. The bungee that holds her on the leg is very comfortable and has a handle for easy removal. Please note that I am wearing a 3mm thick boot. So walking barefoot can make a difference. Overall I am very satisfied and recommend them. By the

Don't joke with others. That's all you need.

These fins are perfect. nothing fancy, nothing high tech, they just work. I have vented several other pairs of fins using "new technologies and materials". Forget it. There's a reason they're the industry standard for instructors. They are everything you need and nothing you need. and at the right price. I've felt a lot better in them in some of the rough Komodo currents than any other fins I've used before. The bungee strap is MUCH better and less likely to break than the Scubapro spring…

Excellent quality! suitable for diving and snorkeling

After reading the sizing details in the comments I decided to purchase the 'regular size' due to my foot size 9 1/2 - 10 1/2 . My feet fit in completely with only a small portion of the heel being pushed out. It's not a tight fit. The bungee straps aren't adjustable, but they fit well. It will fit better if you wear booties. There is a small gap across the width. However, with a 2.0mm or 3.0mm boot, the gap becomes significantly smaller. If the Revain members hadn't shared information about…

    Sizing grid to the point

I usually wear men's US size 7.5. I settled on a size 7 Mares Flex DS 5mm boot and chose the small fin size based on the chart and did not increase the size to fit the boot. Just match! The boot slips, leaving 1 inch of sag. The foot is inside the boot, it just hits the sides of the shell to qualify for a snug fit around the ankle leaving room for the toe in the box. If I switched to regular it would be sloppy loose. The fins came with strap extenders to help if the strap feels tight. If you…

    Bad for Surface Kicks

I've waited years to buy these but put it off because I had a pair (H2Odyssey Thruster) that I liked, for 1/3 the price but were some time hard to find them so i went ahead and bought them. In spring/summer/fall I swim to keep fit. I was shocked when I first kicked them because they were very difficult to step off and I couldn't figure out why at first because they are the same length and width as my other fins. After analysis and video confirmation, I found that they climb higher and rise to…

    Open water, YES. Tec, NO

EXCELLENT open water fin. However, there are a few disadvantages for more technical applications: * They are huge. You will find that the divers follow too closely and also follow the next reef or bottom. Not the easiest way to turn around in tight spaces. At the top, you will most likely be the one spending the most time on the deck if you are sitting on the bench. Also, they are not very easy to transport or store.* They are very flexible. This means AWESOME performance for a standard scissor

Great fins that handle midrange compromises well.

Very good fins. Produce more power but fatigue a little more than some other fin types. So if you're concerned about cramping or if you have the strength, then articulated or split fins might be the way to go. But if you're willing to put in the effort and feel your body can handle it, these fins will offer more bang for your buck. I believe these are the fastest fins I've tested in preparation for an 800 meter snorkel. Divemaster exam. I tested Tusa, Scuba Pro Seawing Nova and Hollis F1 split…
