Installation: Mostly painless, took about 25 minutes reading the detailed instructions and about 15-20 minutes a couple of weeks later with a lot less reading. This is very bad. Things definitely stretched after putting the poles on for the first time which helped. Good instructions sewn right into the bag helped a lot! Function: The gender was not a must for me, it is perfect for my DIY platform. also with the specified platform. Many ventilation holes; On a hot day (I tried 98 degrees) I would really like a fan or something to keep the tailgate in place, a third bar keeps the door out of the way. Waterproof: excellent. The first time I sprayed it with a hose from different angles, and the second time I picked it up before a pretty good thunderstorm and saw that nothing got wet. My only minor complaints: I really thought I was going to break the post or rip the stitching the first time I put it down. Once it had stretched the second time was fine; be careful! I heard a lot of squeaks and had very small splinters on one end of the upright section. The raincoat is very difficult to put on by one person. I don't blame them and that's due to the nature of the tent being so big but I wish I was 9ft and trying to get it over the top. I haven't broken it yet, so I can't comment on the quality of the material as a whole.
