Review on SANOXY SANOXY_EXT DVD ENCL External DVD CD RW Combo Drive Writer by Seth Wood

I recently removed the DVD-RW drive from my Dell Latitude E5410 to replace it with a second hard drive in a 12.7mm universal case. Still, I wanted to be able to use my DVD burner when needed (not very often). I ordered this suitcase, it was delivered to me very quickly (only a few days) and contained everything I needed. It comes with everything pictured including the actual case, 2 USB cables, 1 for data and one for power only, but in my case my USB port provided enough power to run the drive. It also includes a SATA to USB bridge (small circuit board), 2 screws to hold the drive in the case and a white drive bezel which came in handy as my original drive bezel was tilted. to match the shape of the frame on my laptop. I was then able to use the original bezel on my second hard drive cage so that it was not apparent that I had replaced my optical drive with the hard drive cage. All in all, for this price, you can't go wrong. Yes, there could be better cases, but this one seems to be made out of durable plastic and does the job perfectly, all for less than $10 (including shipping). I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an external enclosure for any slim optical drive.
