This monitor light is the perfect addition to a desk with limited space. No glare that I've sometimes experienced with a table lamp. It's a little bulky and the cable that comes with it is too long. But if you don't mind those two things, this little lamp is just great! There are three modes, but I usually keep it on "warm" throughout the day. I didn't use 3M tape and it sticks great on my monitor. I can't talk about a curved monitor or a standing desk that might require 3M tape.
