Reverse polarity destroyed my phone OOMA
Warning: This battery was the same size as my original battery with the correct size connector at the end of the harness. However, the polarity was reversed compared to my original battery. So when I connected the battery to my OOMA PBX phone, the electrical current flowed backwards through the phone's circuit board and burned several components, causing them to flare up and smoke. Needless to say, the phone will be destroyed. Check polarity (the orientation of the red and black wires going into the connector) before inserting this battery into your device.
