This pen fits my 2017 Audi Q7 perfectly, just as I imagined. It would be nice if it was a little longer. This would make it easier to unscrew once the wheel is back in place and the other 4 eyebolts installed, but the knurled eyelet seems to work fine. Other wheel designs may not be a problem as they are all different. The pin that came with my original manufacturer's tool kit was aluminum. The first and only time I used it stuck in a thread that had to be removed with a pipe wrench, damaging it and preventing it from being used again. Dissimilar metals do this. I don't know why Audi put that in their kit. I guess it's all about saving weight even if the stylus doesn't work properly. This item is steel and should not cause any stuck issues. This has to go on for a long time. If you're not worried about the black trim peeling off right away, that's a good thing when you're doing your own wheel work.
