The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

Despite the vignetting, the 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Nikon lens is a good choice for a beginner or hobbyist photographer using a DX camera.
The benefits of it include:
- Moderately sharp, which is not terrible for portraits (especially those that are half-length). crop - approx. 52 mm) - Convenient for traveling, hiking, and other outdoor activities - Cheap.
Negative aspects include chromatic aberrations in high-contrast parts of the frame, which get worse as they approach the frame's borders but can be fixed in post-production software. - The autofocus does not always get it right; this is not a portrait setting.
