These are great bits with a solid milled hex bit rather than recycled metal pressed into the bit. The top of the container screws almost two inches into the base instead of just popping out. The bits are firmly fixed so it will be difficult to pull out the first time. The bit holder actually separates and shows how the bits are held. When you open the bit holder, you can use a flathead screwdriver to pry the bits out of the base handle. After that, just don't push them all the way down and they're easy to remove when you need them. I marked my case with a piece of tape and noticed that the top screws were screwed in as a useful reminder.
