I used it for my weekly backpack and found the color to be different left to right which suits most shots. Can discoloration be caused by uneven lens coating? I shoot equiangular spherical panoramas (360x180). There are NO depth of field (DOF) markings on them, only distance markings. I had to use an app to figure this out and lock focus at hyperfocal length for my aperture setting. The lens is sharp and durable, a great lens for my use. Keep in mind that this is all done by hand. Update: I wanted to add my own depth of field marker and found it couldn't focus all the time. It turns out that the marking of the distance is wrong. I had to recalibrate with my own distance markers. Infinity was also wrong and she can go a little further than it stops to become infinity. 3'-5" is more like 2:-0", 1'-0" is equal to 8". There are no other X-mount lenses with this focal length, so I'll keep it to myself and fix the shortcomings. Since the depth of field is so great with a short focal length, it will fit.
