Review on Advanced Heat And Vibration Wrap For Back Pain Relief - FSA/HSA Eligible - Venom 2 by Corey Holloway

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Gets hotter than many similar pads, but not long enough for comfort; turns off every 15 minutes

Overall:The heating pad heats up quickly and is hotter than other similar pads I've tried. I usually use heating pads at their hottest setting and don't find them to be strong enough. I usually use this one at the medium or even low level and am very happy to have the extra heat when I need it. The battery also holds a charge longer than many similar pads I've tried; it doesn't drain when it's off, and it lasts for quite a while, at least when using only heat (I don't like to use the vibration).Size:The belt is shorter than stated in the description. It's about 46.5 inches long (not the 48 inches in the description), and around two of those inches are Velcro. It's about 44.5 usable inches. Because the belt is also pretty thick/wide, it extends past my waist, so needs to be long enough to cover my hips. Even though I have a 41-inch waist, which is well within the stated 47 inches, the belt just barely fits. If you're any larger, you may need an extender.Time:The belt turns off every fifteen minutes and vibrates twice when it does so. This is probably good for maintaining battery life, but it makes using it a little jarring.Arthritis Friendliness:Unlike many similar belts, the controls on this one are on the arms of the belt, so it ends up under my arm. This is much better than those that have it on the heating section, since I like that to be on my back. The buttons are a little small, but they press down fairly easily. They don't really hurt my arthritic fingers, which I appreciate.Migraine Friendliness:I'm not taking off any stars for this because it will vary widely, but the deep bass rumble of the vibration falls into a range that quickly triggers a migraine when I use it. If you have issues with bass notes, you may want to refrain from using the vibration or choose a different pad.
