Review on Korky 5030BP Universal Toilet Flapper by Vijin Wisniewski

I have an American Standard Cadet 3 oval toilet. It started out as a round bowl but as a man this flaw had to go. Being from California, I'm looking for ways to conserve water. So I replaced the standard tank nozzle with water-saving ones. Everything worked great at first, but after flushing, the flushing cord randomly stuck out and pulled the water out. And so it had to be. Replaced the flush valve and overflow tube, fill valve and even the flush handle. Everything was removed from the tank. Now everything is on the shell. This new flush valve is amazing! I jokingly tell my wife not to get too close to the water when doing the dishes, or it could get sucked in. Now she's being washed away with full force. Solids and wipes don't stand a chance. It's better than original. Better. Stronger. More quickly. ;-) Removing the old valve is a complicated process. But in the end it's worth the effort. After all the frustrations with the old flush valve, we appreciate this Corky valve more. It just works! Perfect. Doesn't leak. It is washed away with a real purpose. It was easy to install. Parts appear to be of good quality. Best of all, they're made in the USA. I now conserve water because it does its job with a powerful rinse. In contrast to the old valve, this NEVER needs to be additionally flushed. The valve closes with force (unlike a water saving valve). And most importantly, it doesn't leak (unlike a water saver). Difficult to understand the flush valve enthusiasm? Yes I understand. But as your main waste disposal system for your home becomes more and more finicky, causing unnecessary frustration and wasting water, you inevitably become more enthusiastic about what just works. I wholeheartedly recommend this Korky flush valve. Tip: Make sure you know the diameter of the hole in the bottom of your tank. This valve is too big. Korky also sells a standard size. But this version is great for my cadet.
