Review on 🚀 Airaid Cold Air Intake System for 2009-2012 DODGE/RAM: Boost Horsepower with Superior Filtration – AIR-301-237 by Pablo Rudon

I fitted this to my truck after only 200 miles so can't say if it helped the MPG. I also have to give up riding like an old man, so I never noticed a performance increase before and after. The installation took about an hour with the help of my buddy. It was very simple: remove the old, insert the new. The hardest part was getting the converter out of the bearing but that was because I didn't know that a simple 1/4 turn with soft nose pliers would loosen it. . Also have aviation scissors handy to run around the edge of the new box. The stripe does not match the curves of the top edge. I don't mind. According to the Airaid website, it fits a 2012 Ram Hemi, but it doesn't show up on the Amazon listing (or not when I bought it). The best thing about this product is the difference in sound it makes. It's like putting a dual exhaust on the front of the engine. It's not uncomfortable and you only really hear it if you stomp on it or accelerate faster than the old man, but it does make a great vacuum sound. "Let the big dog eat," I say. If you want to buy this: I'm saying know a little about using a wrench or pay someone else to do it. This is not an instant install and requires a little common sense. (I would say if you know how to change the oil yourself without searching the internet first you can handle it). Even though I haven't cleaned the oil free filter yet, my friend says it works great.
